You have probably heard the term “beauty sleep”, and well, this is a real thing. Your skin gets used to sleep hours to use it to heal from the everyday damage that may come each day. When you go to sleep, your skin will improve greatly. That is why you should wake up feeling fresh.

You’ll have much less breakouts

It’s not a secret that if you get more sleep, you will have clearer skin! If you have a sever lack of sleep, you will likely be stressed, and this will cause pimples in adults, not just teenagers. Studies have been done that show that college students were more prone to breakouts when they were stressed.

Your eyes will be bright

Have you ever felt envious of those people who truly have eyes that “sparkle”? If you have dark circles, it is likely that they will steal the spotlight from you. Dark circles can actually come from genetics, but if you don’t get enough sleep, they will likely look darker. To disguise these, try to use some eye cream as a primer.

Even out your skin tone

If you stay up all night, your skin will probably turn out very blotchy or pale. If you sleep more, there will be a more healthy flow of blood to your skin. If you happen to wake up with skin that looks blotchy, apply a foundation and make sure to add some translucent powder over the top.

You can rid your eyes of puffiness

While you sleep, fluid actually collects around your eyes if you happen to lay flat upon a bed. If you want to rid yourself of this problem, be sure to prop your head up at night with some pillows. If you wake up with bags, apply a cold cloth to your eyes for two minutes.

Drink water at night

If you have a glass of wine at night, this can actually dry your skin out and age it the next day. If you want to have a drink, drink water! In the morning, be sure to use a toner that contains something to combat the problems with your eyes so that there is not a significant aging agent that happens when you are not properly taking care of your body or your eyes to give out hat puffy and dry look.
